I wrote before (on 22/05/2006) an
article on
20at.com named "Firewall الصين العظيم" or "The Great Firewall of China"..
This article was dealing with a human rights software project developed by
the Citizen Lab at the Munk Centre for International Studies, called
"Psiphon"...
"Psiphon" idea was about how to allow citizens in uncensored countries to provide unfettered access to the Net through their home computers to friends and family members who live behind firewalls of states that censor.
And
"Psiphon" was mainly targeting the censorship of internet applied by the CHINEESE governoment when I first learned about it..
"Psiphon" is now ready for download, actually since 1st of Dec 2006..
I didn't blog this before now because I didn't have time to, but now voila!
here is a cute flash demonstration for the idea it is based on..
Cheers every human rights interested person on the Planet.. :)
